Does anybody, or any cruise ship company for that matter, have information concerning taking a dog on a cruise (3 to 4 Day). We travel everywhere with our highly trained Shepard, Maggie, and know all the hotels and airlines that let her in or on. What about the cruise ship companies? With 43% of the population as pet owners as opposed to less than 25% of the population as child owners, doesn't it make sense to attract that segment of the market that can afford to travel. Those of us who are child-less by choice or empty-nesters and travel with our pets are generally highly educated and have very high incomes. I am the President of two corporations. If my wife and I have to put up with children who seem to want to ruin our cruise with their noise, tantrums at the dinner table and general misbehavior why should I be penalized for having a dog who returns, sits and stays on command? Any cruise ship company that allows pets will be rewarded with our business. I am also the Head of the Carmel/Pebble Beach Dog Walkers Association. We travel with our canine companions, and we have highly disposable incomes. No good dog deserves to be locked up in a kennel (prison). Family members vaction together.
