Some things you should know:

What’s in the cost of a cruise?

taxes

The Cruise Lines all reward group leaders by giving back the cruise fare depending on how many guests the group leader attracts (port charges, air fare, and taxes are not normally provided).

How are the “frees” earned?

The standard group is 16 guests. The 16th guest is “free” — and every 16th guest thereafter is free also. So, if you attracted 32 people on your cruise, you and a companion would receive the cruise fare for free.

Certain times of the year, and for some cruises longer than 7 days, the free ratio can be 1 for 12, 10, 8, or even 1 for 5!
